I’m Mei and I am the artist behind Mei Illustrations.

I love painting all the beauty around me, from fashion to pastries, especially in watercolor. Inspired by nature, sky-scapes, soft light, and pastel colors, I’m always trying to remember everything I see so I can capture it later in my paintings. I hope to share these moments of beauty with you.

In my spare time I’m busy in the kitchen with my sister waiting for our macarons to finally grow some feet! Or, helping out in our organic garden, battling with insects and having a stare-off with our neighbor bunnies. And if I still have some time, I’ll be at a café in my favorite outfits devouring some sweets, because I don’t often get to.
